Questions people ask.
- Why aren't there prices on this page?
- Because the honest answer is that it depends. A one-hour question and a four-month build aren't the same thing, and a range wide enough to cover both tells you nothing. Describe what you need and you'll get a real number quickly — usually within a day or two of talking.
- How does this start?
- With a free conversation. No pitch, no obligation, and no paid step before it. I'd rather spend thirty minutes understanding the problem than sell you something that doesn't fit.
- Who owns the code?
- You do. Source, accounts, infrastructure, documentation — all of it. Nothing is held back to keep you on a retainer, and if you hire someone else next year, everything they need is already yours.
- What if the scope changes mid-project?
- It usually does once real software is in front of you. Small adjustments come with the territory. Anything that meaningfully changes the work gets quoted before it starts, so nothing lands on an invoice as a surprise.
- Can you take over software you didn't build?
- Yes, and that's a good chunk of the support work — including apps built with AI. I'll read what's there and tell you honestly whether it's worth keeping or starting over.
- What if my project is small, or I'm not sure it's a project yet?
- Ask anyway. Plenty of useful work is a couple of days, and plenty of conversations end with me telling someone they don't need to build anything. Neither of those wastes my time.
